As an Expert Witness, Paul Short has been required to provide his opinion to assist the Court in making its decision.

The majority of our assignments in this sector relate to:

  • Divorce
  • Civil Disputes

We will often be engaged to report on business valuations or the taxation consequences of different courses of action. We also often have to advise on the loss of earnings or profits arising due to the actions of a third party.

The appointment as an Expert Witness will either be made as a single expert witness (appointed by one side of the proceedings) or as a joint expert witness (appointed jointly by both sides in the proceedings).

Using his expertise, Paul provides his opinion based on the evidence and facts provided.

In addition to providing a written report, the Expert Witness may also be required to provide oral evidence in Court and to answer questions on his findings.

We would welcome the opportunity to quote for engagements and are able to provide fixed fees for the work to be undertaken. Our forensic accounting services can be provided from Essex and London, to businesses across the UK. Contact our dedicated team today.
