We’ve received an email via a client, claiming to be from Companies House that looks genuine – the subject of the e-mail is ‘Companies House eReminder Service’.
The e-mail does look like it comes from Companies House and I can understand why directors of companies may click on the links to see why their accounts have not been completed and accepted at Companies House.

These emails will either include an attachment containing a virus or a link to a fake website where you may be asked to provide sensitive information such as passwords or even bank details.
Companies House will never ask you to disclose personal or payment information by email. Any doubts that an email received from Companies House is genuine, please do not follow any links, open any attachments, disclose any personal details or respond to it.
If anybody receives a suspicious email from Companies House, they should forward it to phishing@companieshouse.gov.uk and then delete it, and also delete from deleted items if necessary.
