About

Lisa Greenwood, nee Potter, joined Lambert Chapman as an Accounts Junior in 1990 after completing her ‘A’ Levels at the Colchester Institute. She completed her ACCA training and qualified in 1999, she continued to progress through the ranks at the Practice and became a Partner in 2003.

Lisa is one of the Firm’s Responsible Individuals (RI’s) who play an integral part in the Audit Assignments for the Practice which includes specialist audit areas such as Clubs, Solicitors and FCA Regulated clients. Having trained through a period where the transition in accounting records was from manual to computerised, she has developed skills that help her to assist clients with understanding and implementing processes and techniques that make their business run more efficiently. Lisa is an advocate of clients being able to have access to the best accounting data that they can as this is what helps them to succeed. She will work closely with them to ensure that they understand the key numbers that are important to their business and help devise strategies to change these numbers. She is also the Partner responsible for the Firm’s Payroll Bureau which gets involved with the day to day processing of payroll data and this includes the implementation of auto-enrolment or workplace pension schemes.

Lisa has many varied interests including photography and she is currently an very active member of Great Notley Photography Club, a testament to her photography work can be seen in her office. As well as this she maintains an appreciation of fine food and wine and enjoys hosting regular dinner parties for her friends and family. Obtaining the right work life balance is important to Lisa who feels that devoting time to personal interests provides a positive mindset that makes you more effective in work. Ensuring that holidays are spent travelling help to maintain this balance and work in tangent with her other personal interests. Two personal goals are to have visited at least 60 different places by the time she is 60 and secondly to have a solo exhibition of her photography work.
